About Us
OlyKraut handcrafts sauerkrauts, pickles, and sipping brines in Olympia, Washington. For nearly a decade we’ve developed our original recipes, using centuries-old preservation techniques, and sourcing the best possible ingredients. We seriously shred, thanks to our fantastic employees, delivery drivers, and farmers’ market folks who live across the Pacific Northwest.
Our mission is to help grow a sustainable, regional food system that is diverse and just. We also hope to increase the health of our community by making, selling, and promoting the consumption of raw, organic, fermented vegetables.

Grants and Awards
OlyKraut has been the proud winner of several other awards and grant competitions, including the University of Washington’s Jones + Foster Business Plan Competition as well as Accelerator, Edg3 Fund, and Eileen Fisher Grant Award, Olympia Rotary Club Environmental Protection Award, and the Thurston County Economic Development Council’s Agricultural Business of the Year Award.
