Sash Sunday of OlyKraut lent a hand in the making of this project by consulting with Evergreen State College Student John Farinelli who hosts a fun and imformative video on our guts, digestion, and the bacteria that lives inside of us!

Did you know that 90% of the cells in our bodies are bacterial? Probiotics are the good bacteria that break down food in our guts and supply us with the energy from this food that we need to survive. That is why it is so important that we eat healthy and include fermeted foods in our diets. Watch this video and learn more!

Using OlyKraut Brine!

It seems like a number of OlyKraut fans are wondering what to do with the brine. You don't need the brine to make your own sauerkraut at home. Fresh produce and natural sea salt are enough. However brine can be used as a tasty and healthy addition in many recipes and concoctions! Here's some examples:
